Coldplay : de ses débuts à aujourd'hui

Le groupe britannique Coldplay s'est formé en 1996 à Londres, à l'University College London, là où le chanteur principal a rencontré Jonny Buckland. Plus tard, ils ont accueilli Guy Berryman et Will Champion, complétant la formation. Initialement appelé Starfish, la bande s'est rebaptisé pour devenir Coldplay deux ans plus tard. Leur premier EP, intitulé Safety, a été publié en 1998, ce qui leur a permis d'attirer l'attention sur la scène musicale. Leur album inaugural, Parachutes, sorti en 2000, a connu un succès mondial, grâce au single "Yellow", qui est devenu un hit mondial.
