Dupont Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a CNC lathe lathe. It is very easy to turn, however it requires slower speeds. I use this plastic to make Scottish small pipes chanters. Between the Delrin and POM-C rods, both materials are very tough and easily machinable, as they have comparable physical properties.
